Birth is Life-Changing

Birth is everything all at once—powerful, overwhelming, ecstatic, scary, inspiring, and filled with love.
Maybe that’s why I’ve had seven of them, I still can’t get over the awe of it!

As a mother of these incredible children, I’ve experienced (almost) every type of birth. Alongside my work with Leyda Tova, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to learn deeply about this extraordinary thing we call birth.

How It All Began

I never set out to provide professional birthing pools. I was first a singer, then a mother, and then—after making aliya—I suddenly found myself six months pregnant, ready for a home water birth… but with no pool.

There was a kiddie pool available, but that felt more like birthing into a puddle—and frankly, it wasn’t safe. So I searched online and discovered the magnificent Birth Pool in a Box. I bought not one, but four, and began renting them to fellow “water mamas.”

Soon, my work expanded into helping bring water

birth into hospitals.

In 2017, I invited Barbara Harper to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Jerusalem to train midwives from across the city. Slowly, water birth began to find its way into labour wards, supported by the Birth Pool in a Box pools I supplied. By 2020, Sheba Hospital installed a plumbed-in, state-of-the-art Active Birth Pool (created by my dear friend Keith in London).

In 2022, I supplied Beilinson Hospital with birthing ropes, stools, and other natural birth tools. From there, I continued providing a wide range of natural birth equipment to hospitals across the country.

Designing My Own Pool

Eventually, I designed my own professional pool: the Easypool. Comfortable, deep, affordable, and safe for single use, it supported nearly 1,000 women in home and hospital births—helping them discover the healing power of labour in water.

But I kept hearing two things again and again:

“Why only one use? Couldn’t it last for 2 or 3?”
“What about all this PVC waste? It’s terrible for the environment!”

So I listened, and I changed both.
The result? The Evia Pool—the world’s first 100% biodegradable and compostable birthing pool.

Beyond the Physical

Alongside growing my business, I’ve also been exploring the soul of birth. Pregnancy and birth open us to depths and heights far beyond our everyday experience. This is a sacred time of spiritual potential—so pure and elevated that even catching a glimpse of it can transform your life forever.

These insights are becoming the foundation for new projects I’m excited to share with you soon.
